Echo Janitorial Services Inc. was founded in 2023 by Rick Chorney and Adrian Housego, not because the cleaning industry needed another company but because it needed a better one. Today we’re the Abbotsford janitorial company businesses call when they’re done settling.

What Echo Is About
Long term contracts that trapped clients into mediocre service. Crews nobody was really accountable for. Race to the bottom pricing that sacrificed quality. That’s what Rick and Adrian kept seeing, and they cared too much about the work to accept it. So they built Echo to operate differently. No long term contracts. No generic checklists. No excuses.
Today Echo serves the Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland and Okanagan with highly trained professionals, led directly by its Co-Founders. As an Abbotsford janitorial company that property managers and business owners can reach by phone, we keep ownership close to the work, and every account still runs on a custom checklist.
We hold accreditations in WHMIS, Aerial Work Platform, Fall Protection, Joint Health & Safety, First Aid, Hospitality Management and Customer Service. BBB Accredited since 2024, with six industry awards in under two years of operation.

Leadership
Two founders. Two divisions. One standard. When you hire Echo, you deal with the decision makers directly, from Abbotsford to Kelowna. Here’s a little about each of them.
Rick Chorney
Rick leads strategy, business development and Fraser Valley operations from our Abbotsford HQ. He built Echo because he believed the cleaning industry could be held to a genuinely higher standard, and then he proved it.
Adrian Housego
Adrian co-founded Echo and runs the Okanagan Division from Kelowna. Direct operational leadership means Interior BC clients get the same accountability as HQ, not a delegation chain. The company is named after his dog, Echo (pictured), who is still happily with us after a scary bone cancer diagnosis.

When was Echo Janitorial founded?
Echo Janitorial Services Inc. was founded in 2023 by Rick Chorney and Adrian Housego as an Abbotsford janitorial company, and has been BBB Accredited since May 2024.
Where is Echo based?
We’re an Abbotsford janitorial company, with our HQ at 32675 Peardonville Rd, Abbotsford BC V2T 1N2, and an Okanagan division in Kelowna.
Why is the company called Echo?
It’s named after Co-Founder Adrian Housego’s dog, Echo, to honour her after a scary bone cancer diagnosis. Thankfully, she’s still happily with us today.
Do you lock clients into contracts?
Never. Every account is month to month. We keep clients through results, not paperwork.
What is Echo Janitorial all about?
Doing the job properly, every time, without being watched. That means a custom checklist for every building, trained and vetted crews, month to month terms and owners who answer the phone. If something gets missed, we come back and fix it free.
How big is the Echo team?
Our team is 15+ professional staff across the Fraser Valley and the Okanagan. Everyone is trained to the same standard, vetted before they set foot in a client’s building and accountable to leadership.
